In recent years, the corset has made a powerful return to the bridal world, shedding outdated ideas of restriction and becoming a symbol of structure, intention, and quiet strength. Today, the corset is not about reshaping the body, but about revealing presence — a conscious choice made by brides who value identity, elegance, and meaning.
This shift was recently explored in a Vogue Italia editorial (link) dedicated to the role of the corset in contemporary bridal fashion. The editorial features my photography, with two published images that visually shape the story and reflect my editorial approach to bridal imagery. The editorial project was developed in collaboration with Lori Campana Events, whose refined planning and creative direction played a key role in defining the atmosphere and coherence of the story Being published by Vogue Italia is not incidental: it is a recognition of a photographic vision rooted in fashion culture, intimacy, and restraint — the same vision I bring to destination weddings and intimate celebrations in Puglia. The corseted bridal look featured in the article was designed by Alice Pons, whose work plays a key role in redefining the corset through a refined, historically informed, and deeply contemporary lens.
