Set in the soft light of Puglia, among white stone, olive trees and warm summer air, the day moved slowly — almost weightless. Nothing felt staged. Nothing forced. Just gestures, textures, and time.
As a wedding photographer based in Puglia, I’m constantly inspired by the quiet beauty of southern Italy and by destination weddings that feel both intimate and timeless.
It is perhaps this balance between intimacy and aesthetics that later led the work to be featured by Vogue Italia, within a gallery dedicated to contemporary bridal style and the evolving dialogue between fashion and weddings.

The light of Puglia
There is a particular quality to light in southern Italy.
Soft, matte, almost tactile.
It doesn’t overwhelm — it wraps.
The day unfolded within the white stone courtyards of Masseria Palesi, a quiet masseria surrounded by olive trees and sun-bleached walls, where light seemed to settle gently on every surface.
Over the years, Puglia has become one of the most evocative destinations for weddings in Italy, loved for its understated elegance and timeless atmosphere.
Here, the landscape is never just a backdrop.
It becomes part of the story.
Stone reflects brightness.
Trees break shadows into fragments.
Time feels slower, wider.
Images breathe differently.
Form and feeling
At the center of the visual narrative was the dress.
Pure silk.
Clean lines.
A sculpted corset hidden beneath softness.
Strength and delicacy coexisting in the same silhouette.
Rather than directing, I followed the way the fabric moved naturally — folding, catching light, brushing against skin and stone.
Details became landscapes of their own: a seam, a hand adjusting the bodice, the quiet weight of material.
Small moments, carrying their own gravity.
Between documentary and editorial
My approach to wedding photography has always been shaped by an editorial sensibility.
Less about documenting events as they happen, more about observing how they feel — the pauses, the silences, the subtle choreography of gestures.
